Light of the World

Merry Christmas!

If you’ve ever been in a dark room with a single candle, you know that one small light can make a difference. If you’ve ever been to a candlelight service, you know that when one light multiplies into many, those lights change the entire environment. Light banishes darkness, but darkness can’t eliminate the light.

In a world full of darkness, may we all reflect the light of Jesus, not just today, but every day. Jesus is the light and we who follow Him should reflect his light.

John 1:4-5: “In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”

If you know Jesus, be the light! Jesus said this about you: “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16.

This dark and desperate world needs YOU to shine Jesus’ light and dispel the darkness.
